- Abstract
- Extended resonators modeling of the millimeter wave diapason have been executed. Numerical simulations and optimization of the interaction schemes of the electron beam with high frequency (HF) fields of the extended resonance system have been conducted. Possibility of providing in the W-band extended interaction klystron (EIK) the output powers of 1,2-2,0 kW, gain values of 54-47 dB and bandwidths 250-370 MHz at the beam voltage 17,5 kV and beam current 0.7 A are showed. Conditions of the klystron bandwidth widening to 1.2 % are found.
