- Abstract
- A comparative analysis of tools for visual design of models of information systems data structures was carried out. The problems of formalizing data structures are analyzed: the growth of data complexity, their connectivity and volume. It is shown that the systemic representation of data structures should be presented through a formalized description suitable for digital processing and possessing the properties of flexibility, completeness, structure and consistency. The main attention is paid to the implementation of visual models of data structures: conceptual-abstract, structural, object, etc. Recommendations are given for the use of tools for visual design of data models of complex information systems.
