- Abstract
- The study provides an assessment of the centralized drinking water supply system for residents of the Vladimir city district and analyzes the quality of water supplied to the population. It is shown that the surface water intakes of the Nerl and Klyazma rivers and the Sudogodsky underground water intake are used to provide the population with drinking water. The analysis of the quality of drinking water supplied to residents of Vladimir revealed an excess of the MPC standards for fluoride ions (1.04 MPC) and hardness (1.07 MPC) in centralized tap water for residents of the Leninsky district, which is due to the peculiarity of the geochemical composition of the water-bearing rocks in the Verkhne-Sudogodsky water intake area.
