- Abstract
- A mechanical and numerical models of the impact effect of a massive blunt body on a flat thin-walled composite construction has been developed. The numerical model is designed to simulate the deformation of an orthotropic flexible plate of variable thickness as a result of an impact of an absolutely solid body. The results of calculations of parameters of non-stationary deformation of fiberglass orthotropic plate at impact action by the end of steel cylinder with energy of 25 kJ are given.
