- Abstract
- The toxic properties of ash-slag wastes accumulated in ash disposal areas of coal's power stations in Russia have been analyzed. For this kind of wastes there has been estimated their exposure to the environment and to the health of the population domiciled near ash disposal areas. There has been defined that the contemporary rating these power station's wastes as low-hazard or practically non dangerous industrial wastes is biased and nonsense and it needs an adjustment.
