- Abstract
- The article examines the hardware implementation of a multiplexed control system for eighteen electromagnetic actuators using three pins of an Arduino Uno microcontroller, demonstrated through Braille display characters employing the 74HC595 shift register and the microcontroller's hardware SPI. A cascaded circuit based on 74HC595 shift registers is presented, enabling a sixfold reduction in required GPIO pins. The study includes: a schematic diagram, a 3D-model developed in Tinkercad, pinout configurations, and a comparative analysis with traditional control methods.
