- Abstract
- This article discusses the concept of using the thermal energy of exhaust gases in a gas-diesel engine when using gas engine fuel - liquefied hydrocarbon gas to convert the liquid phase into a gaseous one. The main advantage of this system, in contrast to the existing one - gas evaporation due to the temperature of the engine coolant, is the exhaust gas recirculation system into which a liquid propane-butane mixture is injected, for subsequent supply to the intake manifold of the gas-diesel engine.
