- Abstract
- The industrial development of the Lovozersky district of the Murmansk region inevitably leads to a change in the structure of environmental management and the emergence of environmental management conflicts. To identify and map conflicts, stock data on the natural resource conditions of the territory, history and modern environmental management, and the environmental situation in the area were analyzed, as well as sociological studies aimed at identifying the attitude of local residents to the problems and development prospects of the Lovozersky district. The use of a methodology for determining the most in-demand pools of ecosystem services for landscape allotments, for which competition is underway between nature users, field research and individual expert interviews have made it possible to identify a range of existing and potential conflicts between industrial and traditional, agricultural, environmental, resource and commercial environmental management. Some recommendations are proposed.
