- Abstract
- An efficient solution to the problem of task distribution among several robots is presented. It is assumed that a group of mobile robots should inspect a set of predefined targets using a two-stage approach to reduce the search space. The proposed solution is compared with a classical particle swarm optimization algorithm and a genetic algorithm-based approach, and the results of the comparison are presented.
