- Abstract
- A detailed scientific definition of the greenhouse effect as a physical phenomenon is given. For the first time, the concept of "radiation amplification potential" is introduced as an energy equivalent and as a synonym for the greenhouse effect, presented as a function of the content of anthropogenic greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. For the first time in climatology, the main results and consequences of the greenhouse effect are presented in the form of power functions of the radiative amplification potential. For the first time, forecast calculations and a complete analysis of all energy components of global warming in the 21st century and beyond have been performed for the most likely Scenario of moderate decarbonization of the global energy system.
