- Abstract
- The article discusses modern approaches to the security of wireless communication channels for a mobile robot operating within the university admission campaign, with an emphasis on cryptographic methods of data protection (encryption algorithms AES, RSA; authentication protocols WPA3, EAP). The advantages and limitations of a VPN for secure connections are analyzed. Special attention is paid to promising technologies such as broadband signals and Li-Fi to create secure optical channels. Security issues in the Robot Operating System (ROS) and methods of protecting against attacks at the operating system and network interface levels are also being explored. Recommendations are given on the selection of priority solutions for software and hardware protection, depending on the operating conditions of mobile robots.
