- Abstract
- The article examines the specific features of organizing the production process of serial manufacturing at machine-building enterprises and the impact of single (unscheduled) orders on it. It describes the typical problems that arise when integrating single orders into the serial production schedule, including disruptions of production rhythm, resource shortages, and reduced equipment utilization efficiency. Possible directions for improving the process of operational production planning are formulated, aimed at enhancing the flexibility of the production system and minimizing the negative consequences of introducing unscheduled orders.
