- Abstract
- The article considers the problem of recognizing specified (target) objects observed by a spacecraft in various areas of near-Earth space, with stochastic uncertainty in the specification of their individual features. To solve this problem, onboard measuring instruments are used to measure the values of the individual features of the observed objects. An approach and methodology are proposed that allow for the justification of requirements for the error characteristics of the onboard measuring instruments of a spacecraft monitoring space, ensuring the required probability of recognition, and obtaining an analytical solution. It is shown that by varying the values of the weighting factors, it is possible to adjust the requirements for the accuracy characteristics of individual measuring instruments in order to bring them closer to the characteristics of existing instruments. An example of applying the methodology is provided.
