- Abstract
- This article reports the results of a study on the structural and sorption properties of wood waste (pine sawdust and ground maple branches) in their native and microwave‑modified forms. The investigated parameters included moisture capacity, oil absorption, specific surface area, porosity, and sorption capacity for dissolved petroleum products under both static and dynamic conditions. These findings can be utilized in the development of efficient phytosorbents for the remediation of aquatic environments contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons.
