- Abstract
- The article analyzes the prospects for using ash and slag waste in the economy of the Tula region. The chemical composition and physical properties of ash and slag waste from the coal power plant of the Tula region - Cherepetskaya power plant are considered, and the volumes generated and stored at the ash dumps are determined. The main potential uses of ash and slag waste in the Tula region (production of concrete, etc.) have been identified. The territorial features of the prospects for using ash and slag in the region were established on the basis of the "indicator of the prospects for using ash and slag in the administrative-territorial units of the Tula Region" developed by the authors. The most promising areas in terms of territory were the city of Tula, the Suvorovsky District, and the Aleksinsky District.
