- Abstract
- The theoretical model is developed for explaining the acoustic power effect on the forming process of the optical image edge enhancement generated as a result of the two-phonon. This model takes into account the ellipticity of the optical waves and the surfaces curvature of the wave vectors. The experiments which were fulfilled on the basis of a gyrotropic uniaxial crystal of paratellurite have completely confirmed the theoretical conclusions.
