- Abstract
- The comparison of the helical electron beams properties establishing process in magnetron-injection guns with different angles of the magnetic field to the emitter surface is performed. The regimes with big percentage of reflected from the magnetic mirror electrons are investigated. The time dependencies of locked into the adiabatic trap space charge, potential in different cross-sections of the beam and passing to the cavity current corresponding to various values of cold pitch-factor are traced. It is shown that for regimes with high pitch-factors transition to so called boundary or laminar beams makes better the beam stability.
