- Abstract
- The basic spheres of use of rare earth metals (REM) in modern industrial productions, including hi-tech civil and defensive are considered. The condition of this problem abroad, including China - the leader in world rare earth productions, and a condition in modern Russia compared with the USSR is analyzed. The choice of priority and technogenic sources REM for the accelerated industrial development taking into account specificity of the Russian source of raw materials, traditional and innovative technologies is proved. The policy solution of the primary goals in realization of a problem of revival and development of rare and rare earth metals productions in Russia are recommended.
