- Abstract
- This paper provides the preliminary results from 2010 February-August long-term experimental study of 60Co β-decay rate changes measured with the use of scintillation detectors on basis of LaBr3 crystals. The experimental procedure was based on coincident records of γ-quanta with energies 1.117 and 1.332 MeV accompanying the 60Co β-decay. The data were processed by the statistical Kolmogoroff-Smirnoff′s criterion. In April the results have shown an excess over the 1 % significance level in the maximum difference between the theoretical uniform and experimental irregular γ-quanta distributions in the course of 24 hours' observation. A brief comparison of the result obtained with the earlier observational data for changes in the radioactive elements β-decay rate is given.
