- Abstract
- It is presented a methodical approach, which allows, to optimization of technological parameters of continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic sheets manufacturing on semi-continuous presses, to increase on the solidity and other characteristics of continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic sheets, as to decrease of spending for the preparation of manufacturing. Preliminary compacting and impregnating of a semi-finished product offers to perform between press plates which do have a transverse and a longitudinal temperature gradients. As a result conditions are created that enable the unobstructed removal of voids from interfiber space of semifinished product and the obtaining of fully impregnated continuous fibre reinforced thermoplastic sheets.
