- Abstract
- We have analyzed the methods and algorithms used to determine parameters of geometric form of a layer of powder kilning coating by its shadow image. To define the edges of a shadow image, its thickness and wetting angle we considered the usage of continuous wavelet transform. It has been confirmed by mathematical simulation and experiment that interference immunity and accuracy of measurement may be increased by applying the continuous wavelet transform algorithm, also the efficiency of the NI LabVIEW environment together with the IMAQ Vision module in monitoring coating thickness using continuous wavelet transform algorithms.
