- Abstract
- Different approaches for solving problems of improving induction motors mechanical characteristics with the goal of massive reduction in energy consumption were considered. The construction principles and energy efficiency improving method were proposed. The computer simulation of induction motor operation and performance was provided. The prototype of electric drive that meets the declared specifications was developed. The prototype is designed for wheelchair and has improved technical and economic characteristics.
