- Abstract
- There is an overview of basics working Doppler velocity sensors (DVS) in aircrafts. An algorithm is introduced for calculating the aircraft velocity of its principal axes by using a four-beam X-shaped DVS. The advantages and disadvantages of the algorithm are considered. There are methods for increasing the accuracy of calculating aircraft velocity and evaluation of the results using each methods. Conclusions are made about the overviewed methods.
